In my own desperate attempt to support The Daily Top 3 and keep it going, I’m submitting a list of my own. It’s short but sweet.
#3 Chocolate Cream Pie
OK, when I was looking for pictures, I saw a lot of pies with chocolate crust. I don’t agree with this. A nice plain crust will do it just fine with the chocolate cream. Come on, people. Let’s not over do it. On a side note, I’d like some of these please.
#2 Apple Pie
This is the only pie where a side of ice cream doesn’t cause a sweet overload. Ahh, the sweet & sour goodness.
#1 Pumpkin Pie
Is there really a pie that is better than this? Whipped cream is a bonus, but not necessary. Who the hell wants to wait around for Thanksgiving? This should be a year-round pie. ‘Nuff said. Oh, and there’s always this.
So there’s my list. Those of you that spouted off your Top 3 list ideas, SUBMIT THEM! Let’s give Blob a few days to realize what he’s doing.
Oh, and if you love pie so much, why don’t you just wash yourself with a slice?
Fucking WEIRD.
Your Thoughts?

1. Strawberry Rhubarb Pie. Sour and sweet at the same time with a smooth gel-like consistency that perfectly compliments a flaky buttery crust, with chunks of strawberries and the celery-like rhubarb that add texture and contrast, this is by far the greatest pie ever conceived. Very few pies can boast the journey of taste the Strawberry Rhubarb offers it’s enthusiasts.
2. Lemon Merangue Pie. The tangy lemon curd filling that harkens to a sci-fi movie experiment is only the first act of this masterpiece. The second act of foamy, spongy whipped eggwhites just barely crusted under the broiler to give it the slightest hint of a roasted marshmallow gently tugs at your tastebuds with a subdued twist of pure tantilization. But it’s the grahm-craker crust that sends your senses soaring on a flight of unadulterated fruity s’more pleasure and leaves you convinced you could eat the entire tin.
3. Pumpkin Pie. I have eaten may pumpkin pies, but only one stands out from the casual freezer-case fare: Paula Deen’s Pumpkin Custard Pie. A smooth, creamy concoction that is more butter and creamcheese than gourd, this pie tastes like Thanksgiving but sends epicurean tingles down your spine as the silky texture glides along your tongue. I would make love to this pie if I didn’t want to eat it afterward.

3) Sweet Potato Pie… like pumpkin pie, but different!
2) Pumpkin Pie… Not much in the pie world can mess with this stalwart of seasonal savoryness (sorry, the pie monkey post got to me for a second there).
1)Key Lime Pie… Key lime pie is a funny thing. Most places you get it fuck it up so bad there is no wonder many people don’t care for it. In order to get decent Key lime pie, you need to head south of Homestead, FL. The finest place I’ve found is Mrs. Mack’s Kitchen on Key Largo… their’s is a frozen custard type thing with fresh whipped cream. MMMMMMMM! I gotta go to the Keys now.

#1 Apple Pie – I am after-all a red blooded American, not an AmeriCAN’T
#2 Key Lime Pie – Such an odd taste, it’s like the flamboyant gay funny guy of pies.
#3 Pumpkin – Directly associated with one of my favorite holidays (Halloween) and my favorite season (Autumn)
